Our coaches and support staff are a critical component of delivering a high-quality experience to our student-athletes. Many of our coaching staff have decades of experience riding bicycles both for fun and in race environments. While our backgrounds and experiences may be different, we all share a great passion for the sport and for hopefully passing along that enthusiasm for the sport to future generations.
Do you share a similar passion? We’re always looking for a few new coaches & support staff volunteers.
Learn more about our awesome coaching staff and our support staff below. We’re so grateful to all of you for your time and enthusiasm!

St Vrain MTB Support Staff

Kirsten Pellicer
Team Communications & Registration Coordinator
Kirsten returns for her third year with St. Vrain MTB after getting involved with Logon, her son, when he decided to join the team as a Freshman.
“We met an amazing group of coaches, parents and riders and really felt like it was a special opportunity. I knew that the team needed volunteers in order to continue to thrive and grow and decided to see how I could help.”
Once again, she’s serving in an administrative role for the team by helping with registration, communication, budgeting and more.
If your question or problem doesn’t have to do with how or where to ride a bike – feel free to reach out and she can’t help you – or she’ll find someone who can!
(By the way, she can ride a bike.)
She’s looking forward to this year because we have so much great momentum! She’s also looking forward to getting to know some more great families.
“I think going to races is a really fun opportunity to spend time with my family and other people I like in some great Colorado destinations!”

When not communicating with our riders, parents, and volunteers, you’ll find her travelling, reading and spending time with her family.
Preferred Gift Card(s): Starbucks
Cherese Montgomery
Team Spirit Coordinator
Cherese returns for her third year with St. Vrain MTB. She’s excited to lead the Team Spirit and Jersey outfitting efforts for the team.
Married to Scott and mom to Cole, Claire, Crosby, and Miles, supporting her family is always her number one goal. Being active and curious while instilling a love of the outdoors with others is her passion.
Although she doesn’t ride, she enjoys hiking, skiing, yoga, and watching the sunrise. She works as a professional engineer/senior project manager for the City of Longmont.
Preferred Gift Card(s): TBD
