St. Vrain MTB Team

2025/2026 Registration is OPEN!

Preparations are well underway for the 2025/2026 season. Our registration is open to all St. Vrain Valley School District 8th graders or high school riders. (Or if you live in the area, are home-schooled, or attend a private school). See the Join the Team section for details.

The first practice will be Tuesday, August 5th at 6 PM. Join the team for more details.

The Saint Vrain High School Mountain Bike Team, based out of Longmont, is a composite Colorado High School Cycling League team comprised of students from Longmont High School, Lyons High School, Mead High School, Niwot High School, Skyline High School, and Silver Creek High School. We serve all St. Vrain Valley School District High Schools within our team.

We offer a fully coached and inclusive experience for middle school and high school-aged athletes. Whether you have never ridden a mountain bike or are an accomplished rider, we provide mentoring and coaching for all levels and abilities.

We are growing and our current interested team roster is greater than 50 riders from our six-member schools.

THE EXPERIENCE

The St. Vrain High School mountain bike team focuses on individual growth, teamwork, hard work, and FUN! We provide students with the skills to achieve both competitive and non-competitive cross-country mountain biking goals in a safe and fun environment. Training with our team provides life lessons in fitness, nutrition, self-discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
